How long have you been writing scripts? about 15 years

 

How did you decide to enter the world of cinema? On the decision to  adapt  my books.

 

Why did you do this project? It was adapted from my first book `My Reply`

 

How long did it take from the initial idea to finishing the script? About a year.

 

Are you happy with the result? Yes.It has won many awards.

 

What phase is this project in right now? Are you in the initial phase of sending it to festivals, intermediate phase or finishing the circuit?  Probably finishing the circuit as I have 6 features and 2 short award -winning scripts and one `Best Seller` of  my 4 non-fiction books.

 

How has your experience with festivals been so far? WonderfuL, with this Festival being  one of the most outstanding. I  try to submit also to some new festival to give encouragement. Only a few, disappoint.

 

Where do you think they should improve? In communication and distribution.

 

Normally artists use many references, favorite directors, favorite movies, etc. Were you inspired by any director or film? If so, tell us your references. Martin Scorsese  Stanley Kubrick, Mel Gibson,although mine are primarily biograpHical.or based on a true story. 

 

Your favorite movie? `The Nun's Story`

 

Favorite TV show? Highway to Heaven (series) 

 

Do you see yourself doing scripts in 5 years? Yes. 

 

Do you have any other projects in mind? I have commenced a new script and a new book.

 

What do you ask for the future?. (cinematographically speaking) To share my stories with the world, in film.

 

Your best experience in a movie theater? Star Wars.
